Today, in addition to regular "hard" ice cream, the shop offers: no sugar added flavors, sorbets, sherbets, "hard" frozen yogurts, and soft serve - a total of 70 frozen treat choices.  The menu offering also includes brownies, cookies, shortcakes, beverages, hot dogs, and a signature item - fresh baked, handmade waffle cones.  The shop is open 10 to 12 hours every day from Memorial Day weekend through the last weekend of September.

All the folks at the Scoop Deck work towards a common goal - to serve a fair portion of a quality product at a reasonable price from a pleasant facility with lots of hustle, a smile, and ...a thank you!  We are extremely proud of our employees .....he ones that personally hand you your order and say "thank you"...the ones responsible for making the business go and grow!

A visit to the shop, especially during a busy time, quickly demonstrates the unique, challenging, fun experience of obtaining a treat at the Scoop Deck.  The overflow parking, the building construction, the signage, the memorabilia, the huge flavor list, the hustling team of scoopers, and the friendly customers from many different locations ...all lend to the experience.  A humorous sign at the entrance door warns all who enter..."ice cream taken seriously here".   Once inside, it is quickly apparent that the team of employees is most serious about completing your order.  These folks are the "live" arm at the end of every scoop of ice cream sold (see our "Meet the Scoopers" page) ...they hustle to get your order and send you out the door with a smile ...they know ice cream is a fun, happy treat ...and, they work very hard to make it happen!
